Multi-temporal Yoga

In order for us to communicate effectively with the realms of Light outside of our normal domain, the light body has to stretch and open into these multi-temporal landscapes. The Light thickens, becomes more elastic and more permeable to the spatial areas that will eventually fuse themselves into our Light identity. The physical body, its musculature, the sinewy aspects of the muscles, ligaments and tendons form a scaffolding upon which these new, more fluid areas of light musculature can be built. The body becomes capable of holding its physical mass and then moving beyond that to an area of consciousness outside of its usual surroundings. We are literally able to be in the world and not of it. This creates a profound freedom and sense of unification with ourselves, our surroundings and the sense of continuity with the planetary consciousness. This is the purpose of this type of multi-temporal yoga.

The personal work that we all must continue to do, the investigation of our psyche, our structures of belief, our sense of personal mission and the quality of our interaction with others, is essential for the preparation of our light identity. No aspects of this personal story are irrelevant. As we are able to interface with our friends, relations and other animal and plant beings we create a distinct sense of harmony and oneness that allows for peace within ourselves and our environment. This is necessary for the sustainability of our own emotional surroundings as well as integration with the present shift in dimensional structure that is the hallmark of this time period. To sustain a life without fear and a sense of grief or anxiety, the light structure must undergo a complete overhaul of what it has known as stable and enter a different process of core change. Those of us who have volunteered our consciousness during this time are engaged in leading this process and helping others to break free from that which has bound them unnecessarily.

The many years of chakra work that I have been doing has created a ground for the development of the temporal yoga that I have introduced through The Reality of Time. This yoga includes psycho-spiritual exercises to move the heart chakra beyond the bounds of our usual orientation. This supports the full elasticity of the heart to develop, opening consciousness to the multi-temporal domains outside of our dimensional platform.

Thus, we can move past the personal traumas and inhibitions that have kept us bound to our past in ways that have been harmful to us and enter a more open-ended future within the context of our personal lives. Let's discuss this process together and understand who and what we are becoming as we move along in the shamanic re-making of ourselves and the Earth.

Mind, Intuition and Meaning

What does it mean to see internally? How does that arise from the depth of raw impulse? The intuition needs a form to operate from. It has to have fuel. The fuel is a hybrid of pure awareness and imagistic content to which the mind assigns meaning. If you get into your car in the morning and have forgotten how to turn on the ignition, the car will not run. The ignition for intuition is the imagination.

The artificial categories of intellect, imagination and intuition create a compartmentalized view of thinking reality. The mature mind takes the imaginative, imbues it with intuition and spits it out into a subjective logic. Then this logic has to conform to the atmosphere of cultural, tribal and historical contexts of belief that surround it.

Think of consciousness like a cosmic circus in which all the performers are trained to surround themselves with props to assist them in various contortions. As performers, we utilize the props in our reality to create spectacles of intelligence that teach us how the environment will respond to internal need.

The interpretative mind places value and significance on different levels of raw intuitive content. When intuition enters, it seals off rooms of its own, through which it will be able to send messages to other parts of the house of intelligence.

The mind automatically contains and processes information according to its own tendencies. To pull out of the “wrap” of the mind, one has to recognize the very structures through which the everyday thinking process clings. Through meditative practice one can spring the mind free from the templates that normally bind it, see through that wrapping and then make room for naked intuitive impulse to come forth.

Unprocessed intuition arises as an impulse in pure awareness that beckons the receiver to follow that impulse until it can be transduced into an integrative model. If one hears or sees an intuitive aspect, it has to be dilated, shrunk, into a package that the mind will be able to digest. Thus all information highways require proper assimilation.

The intuition is the interpretive mechanism that tells our nervous system how the feeling level will respond to the recognizable acts of the mind. We learn to tell time through our intuition, which tells us about the relativity of temporal intervals through our feeling existence. We are the repository of temporal views, strung together by the intelligence of the intellect and then wrapped in the pretext of intuition. We are the nomads in the domain of celestial awareness, tredding the desert of the mind.

The mind is never logical. The organization that intellect brings is highly subjective. My mind will never look like your mind no matter how hard we both try. Raw sequences of data enter from the level of impulse and hit the switch of imagination in long and short bursts.

The mind requires intuition to know how to think. The mind takes images, sensations, feelings, and processes them .The mind functions through comparison, analysis and reason. None of these functions are independent of intuition. The diet that the empirical mind relishes can only be enjoyed if the intuition has imparted the spice of meaning.

The sequencing that the mind follows never enters the realm of logic in the way that written or oral language demands. The raw sequencing of inner consciousness is more like a panoramic display of algorithmic processes, in which equations of consciousness are expressed imagistically and on the level of feeling.

To interpret the inner life, it is therefore necessary to unleash the intuitive process and allow it to interpret inner imagistic content at the same level from which it was birthed. Then the point of arising will match the depth from which the intuitive information sprang.

Light enters belly of intuition
wanders through mind
like finest curds
strained through cloth

Elephants appear
feigned causes of insanity
redirected to logic
that intellect defends

we are ice on the curved wind of sea
dealt the final blow by end
of all belief

The Den of Pure Intuition: Why Enter?

People always ask me what benefit it would be to them to open, train and/or tame their intuition. It’s a good question, because without a reason for spending the time and practice to evolve this art and skill, it will not work skillfully and the time will not be given. The answer to this is simple, “why do we spend our time developing the mind, the emotions or the body?” The reasons are self-evident. Since intuition, ultimately, is a fine blend of something that involves body, mind and emotions it should not be too hard to see why we are compelled to experience it. Yet, we hang back.

Perhaps this is because where it gets a bit out of the ordinary or uncharted is that the intuition is ultimately not a function of the mind. It actually, skins, trims and takes the mind to new places of recognition and retrieval beyond the boundaries of known or controllable. To truly open the intuition, one must surrender to something out of one’s control, one must skim the surface of the believable to get to the unbelievable. When one is inordinately shocked past self-containment and becomes the kindling for the fire of spiritual being, then one discovers quickly that truth can only be born in that fire. The garden of knowing is a fertile, authentic and fiery bed where coal can alchemically be transmuted. It is only when that fire is truly hot, that intuition, like spun glass, can be skillfully blown into something translucent and beautiful.

The first image one sees that is truly intuitive, that arises from someplace outside of the usual realm of thinking or feeling is the edge-curve from which we are given a glimpse of the infinite. Intuitional development therefore is not for cowards. It requires a type of interior bravery of see/feel that is a bit foreign to us in the superficial circumstance of the Western life. The breeding ground for intuition is silence and contemplative self-recognition, but in our world all three are at a shortage. Thus, the modern world seems to require a cheekier, faster avenue of intuitive development. The modern intuitive must literally see/feel their way into the food store, their parent’s living room, the traffic jam at the end of the road and come away with a cured glimmer of the invisible.

The higher mental faculties gradually develop the practical asset of the self-recognitive. For the modern intuitive, the inner film-maker, the lower mind, with its envies, fears, angers and pain cannot be left behind on the cutting room floor. The modern intuitive is like a cyclone that has been given a pause button. He or she has to learn to handle the rapidity of environmental change, noise and confusion. The finely tuned ears of the subtle auditory and visual stimuli must contend with both Being and Traffic.

The other reason to develop the intuition is that it is the great conveyor of compassionate witness. It is the intuition that ideally informs us of what we left behind, the blindspots, weaknesses and dramas of an unhealed life. The intuition not only takes us out of our own comfort zone but imposes upon us a sensitivity to the comfort zone of others. It cries out to us about how our own narcissistic self-emphasis is blocking the way towards actually knowing that there is another human being out there. And finally, as the intuition really cooks, we realize that there is really only one being of which we are expressions. Yet it always exhorts us in a paradoxical way to mind our individuality carefully, thank you very much.

The intuition is an elliptical orbit of sensory deprivation in which one becomes deprived of the mind’s own superficial exercise of consummate ego. In return for that painful sacrifice we are gifted with a God voice that is ever-present, incumbent and sometimes even ominous. The intuition however never means to frighten us, but it does mean to give us a startling reminder of what we have left behind.

When one learns how to really translate the symbolic information that the intuition provides, be it auditory, kinesthetic, visual, or multi-sensory, the translation is always filled with ambiguity. No one’s intuition is perfectly translated just as no beautiful translation of a 2nd century Chinese poem would be. We realize that context is everything. Iconic imagery rests on its own unknowable and unfathomable laurels and the best we can approximate is a translation of depth intuitive levels that serves us or others in a fortuitous and timely manner.

The knower has to be trained and like any animal-like being, it actually enjoys good training, and will eventually repay the trainer with a taste of accomplishment, upliftment and pure joy. We develop the intuition ultimately for our own satisfaction and a sense of our humanity that satisfies a deep craving of soul/spirit to be free. And in the end, that satisfaction leads to a type of non-grasping intelligence that speaks constantly and eloquently, ultimately bypassing the means of translation altogether.
